Prime Sirloin or Choice Strip

Say you can get Prime grade sirloin or Choice grade NY Strip for the same price...which would you get, and why?
ETA: This came to my head when I saw Costco selling Prime sirloins the other day.

I'd go with the strip because sirloin is going to be lean anyway so a prime sirloin isn't really going to matter that much. The strip will have good fat distribution and more of it.

NY Strip is my favorite cut of beef...

Doesn't Costco sell prime strips, too? Probably have to split with more coin for that. I think the choice strip is probably just fine.

Yeah, they sell all the normal cuts in Prime grade.
I haven't had a Sirloin in who knows how long...was trying to decide if it was worth my time and money.

Strip. To me, sirloin has a similar taste to liver when eaten as a grilled steak. I don't care if it's prime or choice; it always is a bit off putting.

Don't get me wrong. I love a good sirloin, and like to mix things up. In a one-time scenario, I would choose the strip. However, if you haven't had sirloin in a long time, you might want to go in that direction. The strip will be there next week.

The answer is always NY strip, no matter what the question is...

I like a big hunk of sirloin, enough to feed three or four...grilled rare, then sliced paper thin at an angle.
