Character: Easily Dale for me. He is essentially the Kramer of animation. I also enjoyed how he had the longest running side-stories/subplots out of everyone. Rusty Shackleford, the gun club, his random gun-for-hire ads that he would run. I loved it

Episode: This is a tough one. So many to choose from. My favorites were when the focus was on the shenanigans of the 4 guys. Probably the episode when Hank lost his homeowner's insurance, Bill and Boom fried everything, and Dale was selling the medicinal benefits of bee stings.

Favorite character is just as hard as picking a favorite episode. It has to do with whats going on. But Cotton and Dale's relationship is probably my favorite.

Favorite is impossible in my opinion. There are so many good ones.

Top 6 off the top of my head:

The episode where Dale gets a normal job and gets promoted to the guy who fires people.

The one where Bobby joins the cult they want to make him drink caninus spiritus.

The one where Hank has no arse and has to get prosthetic butt cheeks in order to compete in a lawn mower race.

The one where Hank teaches shop and everyone likes him more than Peggy because frick Peggy

Cotton is a toss up between the one where he goes to Japan and the one where he steals Santy Anny's leg.

The episode where Bobby takes a women's self defense class might be my actual #1 all time favorite.

Episode is impossible. I have no idea.

And character...probably Buck Strickland.

I forgot about the one where Bill is Santa Clause.

That might be one of my favorite Christmas specials ever (except of course woodland critter Christmas which is the GOAT). It was brutal to watch him be so happy and great then fall so far. And he competes with hank about whose son is better.

The Billcentric episodes are always brutal. Like when he finds out he was given experimental Walrus drugs by the army.

shite Bill is probably my 3rd favorite character on the show.

Fav character or episode might be impossible but i can tell you with absolute certainty my favorite moment:

Hank Hill: So are you Chinese or Japanese?
Kahn Souphanousinphone: I live in California last twenty year, but, ah... first come from Laos.
Hank Hill: Huh?
Kahn Souphanousinphone: Laos. We Laotian.
Bill Dauterive: The ocean? What ocean?
Kahn Souphanousinphone: We are Laotian--from Laos, stupid! It's a landlocked country in southeast Asia. It's between Vietnam and Thailand, OK? Population 4.7 million.

Hank Hill: So are you Chinese or Japanese?

I was pretty close to naming this one. Just knowing that what made Dale function was knowing he destroyed lives made that episode great. It's true though, naming a favorite episode is impossible.

The episode where Hank fished with crack was great as well. As much as I enjoyed the earier episodes over the later ones, I loved the affirmative action episode where Kahn converts to a redneck

Her character arc turned her from likable->super bitch. Peak of Peggy hate might have been the country music fan fest episode.

And every time the storyteller is meticulously checking for safety hazards and watching over everything while the others are destroying the place...

So many. Loved from season one. Got'dangit they reached supercruise w/Petty & Adkins towards the end. I'll pick one from the later years where Kahn goes redneck with them.

Elvin after they want to buy Adkin's new record but store is closed:

"I'll tell ya what'll open it is me & a damn brick".

Favorite episode is really hard but the one where Bobby becomes a Southern Gentleman and they go to New Orleans always sticks out to me.

There are many great quotes, but my favorite is the one where Hank walks in Bobby's room while Bobby is pressing the cheerleader uniform. Hank: "There better be a naked cheerleader under your bed."

ETA: "That's my purse! I don't know you!"
