I hadn't even heard of this movie but I'm watching it now on Netflix and it's shocking to me how good it is. Realistic, gritty, no goofy caricatures. Anyone else see this? I'm always looking for good medieval movies.

Thx for the heads up, I'll check it out. I always just assume movies like this will suck due to low budgets.

I enjoyed Black Death too. It's on Netflix.

Black Death is on my watch list but I'm not a huge fan of horror. Is it mostly a horror movie?

I really liked this one. I love the medieval era and will watch almost any movie in that setting. Glad I know to watch another one now.
