Our Sunday pitching has been so bad this year I had a couple of ideas.....

What about using Parker Bugg as Sunday starter.
He looks like he may have the stamina to be a decent Sunday starter. Glenn, Bouman Cune/ pitch by comittee have turned out to be lackluster at best.

Also what about Broussard as a Sunday starter?
Just figure out the finisher role as needed.

When has he shown this?

So then who closes?

Well, that's just stupid.

I'll consider it and get back to you on that...

Try Kramer Robertson.
The guy was an awesome pitcher in high school.
88 - 92 mph with good curve.
I don't know why he hasn't pitched yet.

How about not capitalizing the second "B"?

Because he's not a college level pitcher. Half the position players on LSU's roster pitched some in high school.

LSURussion - I'm not sure how many of our pitchers are good college div 1 anyways - outside of Nola Poche and Broussard - it's sketchy at best. Why not give it a shot? As weak as the rest of our pitching is in the SEC we need to do something - yeah 11 shutouts but do teams like Lamar really count? We have to figure something out our we'll be sitting at home come late May/ early June. 1 excellent starter 1 good starter and 1 good closer wont be enough imo.

Nola and Brousard, look good, and Poche` is coming on, but after that, its just a guessing game..Really need someone to step up in that role, fairly quickly, just too much pressure on the other guys..

So this is where I can suggest Laird to pitch and not get laughed at?

We need someone to step up into the Sunday role, yes. But to say that those three are "the only D1 pitchers for LSU" is straight up ignorant. Our bullpen has been very stout this season.

He is about the only guy that might be decent that we haven't tried. What are your options just keep as is and keep getting rocked?

Maybe Bregman breaks out of his slump if he pitches.

Repeat this three times and let me know how stupid you sound:

"I am seriously suggesting that Kramer Robertson should be a starting pitcher for LSU"
