He'll find a home in the 2nd round.

My hope is that there is a run o QBs and some team decides to trade up to 27 and snag him in the first rd.

Mettenberger is a 6’5” gunslinger with a 224-pound frame. He possesses the biggest arm in the draft and has experience (thank you, Cam Cameron) running a pro-style offense that benefits from the play-action pass.

Nice.

He looked pretty healthy, throws were not completely accurate, but that is to be expected given how long he has been out.

Just curious, what was going on with Jarvis early on in that video? I've rarely seen him drop the ball like that?

The best comparison to Metteberger in the NFL right now in my opinion is Matthew Stafford.

I think that the pats are going to take him first round or trade up in the second. They love LSU and belichick always gets steals in the draft and IMO unless he goes top 15 he is a steal. Also just a general note I think mett rose his draft stock by miles when he improved his senior year, showing that he is very coach able. I think that will be big.

Why? Stafford is good at deep throws, Mettenberger is not.

I hope Mettenberger lights up the NFL, and he's amazing at medium range and sideline throws, but as a GM I would like to see better physics on his bombs. Seems like such a thing is teachable, though.
