I lol'd pretty good at that Houston team tonight. Good luck in the playoffs Houston (you will lose in the first round)

Harden couldn't guard fricking Babbit

Rivers owned the frick out of Lin and Beverly

Howard was Ajinca's bitch most of the night

We didnt have our top 7 scorers and led most of the game :rotflmao:

I can sense that you know the rockets were exposed tonight

They weren't exposed. They have been blowing arse for the month of April.

I watch Houston on a pretty regular basis. What's been the deal lately? They seem pretty lethargic.

Well we beat OKC last week and were 7-3 in the last 10 before losing to Denver and Minnesota.

Beverly is the spark plug. He's the reason they came back tonight. Plus Dwight and Asik are a good center combo but if Dwight isn't playing we don't have another good post option. Jones is more of a put back / energy guy but not won you can dump the ball down low to at this point.

Agreed. Don't know. My only guess is Beverley brings the energy. With him being out, they play lazy against teams they should beat.

That's just a guess.

The rockets are soft. PBev adds a LOT more to the team that what you see on the court. He gives them a little bit of attitude and confidence that is lacking when he's not there. Dwight Howard is a very good player, but he is soft. Harden is a VERY good player but he's a bit soft.

I don't really want Carmelo this off-season, but I would be curious to see him on the team and see if he'd have a Beverly type impact on their mentality.

I don't know how any team could possibly be down by double digits in the 4th quarter against this Pelicans squad.

We were literally missing 6-7 of our best players.

I am honestly surprised we aren't getting blown out. This squad was backups worse than philly.

shite happens. The Rockets have been playing terrible lately for some reason. Ever since Kelvin Sampson left for the UH job, their defense has looked pitiful. But they should know how to play his defense by now. Him leaving couldn't have that big of an effect, can it? I don't know, I'm just spitballing here.

I would imagine it's just a typical slump; every team has them at some point. Even the almighty Spurs looked like garbage for a time(albeit very brief)this season.

The real issue in the NBA in my opinion is the timing of when the slump happens and having the leadership/composure to not let things snowball.
