I know I started a thread about the area the other day but I would like recommendations on nice luxury cabins..from looking online a lot of them look alike but I figured I would rather get some suggestions on people that have been...Thanks in advance

Try this company-they have a ton of options to choose from and every cabin I've stayed in are very nice and well kept up.

We stayed in the Wears Valley and enjoyed it. Most cabins are going to offer the same amenities, hot tubs, pool table, ect. Location is important. Wears Valley is right outside PF and Gatlinburg and short drive to all attractions/areas. It also has the scenery you want when renting a cabin.

If Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge is trashy than so is every beach town. It has tons of go karts and putt putts etc. that make it more touristy than most other national park areas. However there is way more to do than drive down to the tourist town.

Guess you have to be trashy to only pick up the touristy things rather than the beautiful rivers, wildlife, fly fishing, hiking, camping and white water rafting.

Was actually going to start this same thread. My wife and I are looking to go in a few months as a fun trip for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Looking to stay in a nice place and maybe do some white water rafting one day and plenty of hiking and such.

Sounds like a typical trashy vacation. Hiking, rafting, and staying in a high-end cabin.

Honestly, if I were going with just the wife, I would think staying in or near Ashville would give you a much better trip and still allow for the outdoor stuff.

This thread is funny and sad at the same time. The title "Best Nicest Cabins in Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge" is exactly what you would expect from a thread about Gatlinburg.

At the same time, some people are being dicks for no reason, which is unnecessary

Asheville, NC? I've heard good things but it's a little far. We want a place where we can drive and get there in a day and a half. Mostly since we'll be taking two more trips this year that involve flying.

My wife and I used Cabins USA and stayed at a cabin called A Time for Two. It was pretty awesome sitting in a hot tub on a balcony overlooking the snowy forest. Had a pool table, satellite TV. I left cum stains all over.
