When the wife drags me there, I always find myself staring at the various links in the meat case like a kid at his Christmas presents. Thinking about picking up a variety to throw on the grill this weekend. Any recs?

Pineapple teriyaki is great. The blueberry is also good for breakfast.

I think it was the mango habanero I got last time. It's spicy but everyone really liked it.

Don't spend a bundle until you try a few first. As beautiful as they look in the display case, I found the sausages from WF to be dry and pretty tasteless. I think in an effort to be 'healthy' they skimp on the fat content, sausages need fat.

I have not tried them in a couple of years, please report back if you have a better experience, We shop there often but I am reluctant to try the sausages again.

Same here. I typically go to a local butcher instead.

Only 1 I've tried is the pineapple teriyaki... It isn't too dry. Makes for good apps when using the pit... All this being said in not driving to whole foods just to get sausage.

Pineapple needs a little heat.

I'm not a fan of most of their sausage.

I bought some chorizo from WF in Jackson and it was extremely dry. Andouille was just ok. I think you're spot on with this.

Pineapple > Jalapeno cheddar IMO

The last time I grilled for a few friends, I got the PT, JC, and Green Onion.

Everyone seem to enjoy the pineapple the most. I also agree with the poster who said they can be dried out sometimes.

This is one of the times FDB has pulled through for me. I always look and wonder when we get to a WF or Fresh Market, but have never purchased.

Now it will be easier to just walk on by.

Now if someone will just say something to get me past the store baked bread isle. I'm like a junky in that part of the store. Same or worse when in the bread stores on the Strip in Pittsburgh.

My name is MD and I am a bread-a-holic.

i have experienced this, I complained at the WF and the guy behind the counter told me to boil it in water for a minute before grilling it. That it would retain more moisture that way. I did this and it worked well.

I don't get no respect.

My Psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I wanted a second opinion. He said. "OK, you're ugly too."
