SLYT™ | BOS @ NYY | Game 4 - Boston 2 New York 3 | FINAL | Yanks dominate series

After a disappointing opening series against Baltimore, your New York Yankees look to bounce back against their long-time rival. Boston isn't off to a great start so far this season either, struggling to find a replacement at the top of their lineup for current Yankee Jacoby Ellsbury.
Speaking of Ellsbury, he is also set to face his old team for the first time. He is off to an amazing start in New York, with four multi-hit games already so far this April.
Michael Pineda is scheduled to make his first start in Yankee Stadium tonight, against a Red Sox team that crushed him in his only career start against them.
Last night's starter, Tanaka, shined on baseball's biggest stage in his first start in Yankee Stadium last night. However, he is not satisfied.
Yangervis Solarte has stayed hot, and is making a name for himself early in the year. Wouldn't be surprised if he emerges as the every-day 3rd basemen. However, expect a lot of guys to get work at different places throughout the year, as this is a very deep team.
Mark Teixeira doesn't expect a long stay on the DL long as a result of his hamstring injury. David Robertson feels his injury won't be a lasting one either.
Carlos Beltran, who has finally heated up lately, is looking to fulfill his World Series quest with the Yankees. Beltran wanted to sign with the Yankees back in 2005, but the contract just didn't work out.
Dean Anna will get his turn at 2nd base tonight. Hopefully Ellsbury will remain in the 3-hole even after Teixeira returns. Makes the lineup a lot better.
Some really good pitching match-ups this weekend too.

We've been playing both Nava and Gomes in the outfield. That makes the Yankees infield look like a bunch of Cal Ripkens :D

I think the 2013 Red Sox were one of the most overachieving groups in recent memory. I think this year's version will be a borderline playoff team.
Really makes you think about just how amazing their season was last year. I thought there was no way they'd get by Detroit.

They overachieved a bit, but it's still a very talented team. You can argue the LF, 2nd, DH, and SS starters are top 5 in MLB. Lester is money in the postseason too

The Nava/Gomes platoon was statistically awesome last year.

Pineda perfect thru 1

Was funny seeing Ellsbury talk to his old teammates before the game. Pedroia grabbed a pinch of his pants and said "they look good," in reference to the pinstripes.
They all had a good laugh.

Wait, when did Boston go back to their awesome gray uniforms? They ones with the dark blue lettering were god awful.
