The gold you are referring to is elemental or metallic gold.

still would be nice if we changed it up a couple times a year just to do something different and to bring a little pizzazz. I love our traditional look, gold pants, white jerseys, gold helments, but nothing wrong with a little change up every now and then. I think the players like it, the fans like it, don't know why we just don't do it more often.

Absolutely agree. I can't imagine why anyone would prefer something so drab and common, but to each his own.

I admit that I really, really liked that uniform, but it had just the tiniest bit of "old gold." Helmets and pants that color would be terribly blah.
