Not an airboat, but a flat bottom with a stand built with a fan and engine. I will be buying an 18 ft. or 20 ft. flat bottom boat and will be rigging it up for bow fishing. I've ridden in a surface drive while bow fishing, but was not impressed. It ran too fast for bow fishing. A trolling motor isn't an option either, since I'll be in too shallow of water at times.

I'm looking to buy something similar to this:

Great for rivers and lakes. Terrible for flats and marsh. I have been in two different set ups. They both seemed to be under powered, slow, easily stickable.

Saw one on the interstate and snapped some pics. Let me see if I can find them...

I'll find out soon. I'm going out with a guy in Cut Off and he has a pusher fan. I'll see how it does and will game plan from there. I think we will be going in a marsh.

That is the first time that I have ever seen something resembling a Gar fish on the side of anything

I use a trolling motor on my bowfishing boat. It works fine. And I get to shoot at the same time.

Marks Airboats in Franklin builds what he calls a Shallow Water Spider.

The engine is smaller than an airboat but larger than what you are showing.
