In order to find out who leaked the secret videotape to the newspapers and TV.

Why isn't there a popcorn emoticon?

Thanks to all involved for bringing some much needed entertainment for the long hot summer ahead.

I'm a conservative Republican and I can safely say I'm embarrassed to have this womanizing hypocrite in the party. He takes a page right out of the Democrat playbook: divert attention away from personal shortcomings and project them on to whatever is convenient.

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!"

Drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find.

If it's a Dem (and a Law was broken)...nothing happens. If it's one of his (disgusted) own...they'll be celebrated for exposing his hypocrisy.

Either way...he needs to go. Times are too serious for this crap. His kind of *leadership* is what got us in this mess anyway.

LOL, who didn't see this coming...

Can't even be a man and accept responsibility and resign. Gonna go out blaming others.

It really is a testament to exactly how insulated these dumb fricks in DC are that the man does this when he KNOWS there are cameras watching.

Is he really so obtuse to not realize that anything recorded as the potential to become public? Does he not realize that there's no way of knowing if the guy watching that tape has sympathies with his political opponents?

I mean frick dude. Just go kiss her on the mall if you're gonna be that dumb.

He definitely should resign, but he should also find out who leaked the video.

Wasn't he smooching in a public place? How is that eligible to be called a 'secret'?

What's even more disappointing than the guy doing the dirty deed is that resignation (the honorable thing to do) doesn't even enter into the equation.

These guys are morally bankrupt.

As Bill Clinton reads this headline he leans back in his recliner as a sly grin widens and mutters to himself..."Too bad you're a Republican Vance, I managed to have sex outside of marriage as the President of the United States and still became the greatest hero to the Democrat party of our time."

I am in no way supporting McAlister and his actions with his staffer, but what he did was NOT a crime. Whoever released that video committed the criminal act.

Wait. I don't get something here. Even if your disgusted by his philandering, doesn't the fact that this was leaked by someone in his own office, 4 months after it was allegedly taped off his own security system with a cell phone, doesn't that kind of bother anybody?

Bugging a federal office is a huge crime. And stabbing a fellow Republican in the back makes for a pretty interesting story. Whomever leaked this might have thought it would be scandalous and just send McAllister running. But the liberal press smells more than just a little blood in the water. There's something going on here. And if the media can take down a ton of Republicans instead of just one, don't think for a second they won't do it.

Recording video from a security system is likely considered bugging. You can't videotape video from another video in a federal office without a warrant.

If Vance wants to do it, and I hope he does, he could have the FBI investigate somebody's arse right into a federal prison.
