It's becoming the show I look forward to the most every week. I never see it talked about here. Just curious.

I think it is going to hang around. I know I enjoy it. Well written imo, decently funny cast. Plus a lot of stories most of us can relate to.

I was born in 78 but had a brother 10 years older than me so I benefited from all the shite he was into in the 80s and then I was in my prime in the 90s. This show has pretty much nails my entire childhood so far except my dad was always in his undershirt after work. He kept his pants on.

It's my wheelhouse. I was a kid in the 80s. Barry is a solid big brother character.

It's the last family comedy sitcom I enjoy watching. Modern Family is getting boring and they push the gay agenda too much. Everything else is crap. The goldbergs are awesome.

I love this show. Barry is such a dork that it makes him awesome.

Pretty much this. Born in 80 and have an older brother, so I can relate to a lot on this show.

Also like someone said it is an easy show to watch, first few episodes didn't really catch my attention but now I look forward to it each week. Good show.

I dvr it, overall my opinion is that it's a decent show but the nostalgia is a bit before my time, I was born in '85 though.

I like nostalgia shows for the most part but this one didn't resonate with me. Didn't care for the mother or youngest son. Watched a couple of episodes and stopped.

Out of the new comedies, The Goldbergs and Brooklyn 9 9 are the only ones I enjoy.

The best parts of the shows are at the end, every episode has the real life Adam Goldberg(producer I think) home videos of that topic for the episode.

I don't think I'd watch it if it were not for my 11 year old who loves it, but it's precisely because I get to see "my" decade through his eyes that I like it so much. I'm actually a big fan of the way they refuse to pin down any date...simple "It was March 7, 19 80 something..." That's VERY clever in that it keeps wanks from nit picking items in the show that would not have been around at the time.

And I enjoy Patton Oswald as the voice over guy.

Cute show.

Yeah, they've had references all over the place, from 1981 to 1989 or even later. Smart move I think. It can then appeal to the entire decade and not just something like 1987 for example.
