About 9 months ago, we were all talking about how he was a guy that really stood out for us in the Gold Cup and it seemed like he was on track to booking a flight to Brazil. Since the Gold Cup though, he has only been called in to a USMNT camp twice and played just once (v. Bosnia). Around that time, he also was falling out of favor with Xolos.

Apparently now, he has been performing well at Tijuana and maybe, just maybe, his USMNT stock may be trending upward.

I think at this point, it would be unfair to ask if he makes it to Brazil, but does he get a call into the 30-man camp, at least getting a shot to make the final roster?

Honestly, I don't think he does. He can play on the wing or in the middle, but it just seems like we have too much depth at those spots for him to make a late push.

30 man roster, probably. Brazil - doubtful.

He plays the same role as Donovan and Zusi (and probably Bedoya) and is behind all three. Would be goofy to bring three guys to play one position.

Don't be surprised to see both Zusi and Donovan starting against Ghana.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if JK starts DMB at LB, Fab on the left wing, Zusi on the right and Landy on the bench (if he's on the roster).

I love Donovan – his performance in Korea/Japan is what made me a full-fledge soccer fan, but he and Klinsi just don't see eye to eye at this point.

I'm convinced Jurgen fricks with Landon's head so much just to constantly light a fire under his arse. He probably figures Landon's been around so long as gets complacent at times so Jurgen tries to keep him on his toes.

I kind of think this, too, but I just don't know anymore.

Donovan has arguably been the USMNT's best player since his return, but it seems like, with every new camp he is called in to, the reset button has been hit and Donovan has to reprove himself to Jurgen again. I can't make much sense of it.

Landon's been mindfricked bad but for good reason.

Why does fricking with him now do?

I was totally with Jurgen and how he left Landon out of the summer WCQ's and forced him to earn his place in the Gold Cup. But the thing is, he went above and beyond and JK still acts Landon just got back from Cambodia.

For a second, I thought you were referring to LD...
