Remember when Arnold left Dudley with a pervert?

Is this the creepiest episode in TV history? An obvious pedophile is creeping on children and the audience laughs when he gives them wine and shows them pictures of him skinny dipping. Then that dickbag Arnold just ditches his friend Dudley!

Child molestation used to be funny before this PC nonsense.
Yes, I'm joking, but not really. It's not that people tolerated it. They just weren't offended by it and dark humor was in full force. Check this one out.

It's strange. We're so much more vulgar now in so many ways, but much more sensitive in others.

It took seven people to write that long arse article.

And only one to get Dudley to take his shirt off.

I watched reruns of the show back in the day, but I don't remember this episode. Poor Dudley. That's pretty fricked up, but I guess, the only way to get Curly arrested.
I'm trying to watch it now, but knowing that Dana Plato and Todd Bridges turned out to be almost as fricked up at The Bicycle Man is distracting, as are Dana's nudes and porno scenes.
I wonder how many kids are abused on TV and movie sets. I bet it's a lot.

Well, Dudley was the better looking of the 2 between him and Arnold.

Wow...the comments.
I'm so tired of faux outrage. It's out of hand.

Man, I can't remember the TV show or exactly what happened, but I remember an old episode of some show that went like this:
Some guy invented a virtual surfing game with a full size surf board whoever the characters were (I think a boy and girl) went to his house to beta test it.
Well they were having fun fake surfing and what not, and the guy tells the boy he should take off his shirt so it's like he is really surfing in the ocean. I think he did take off his shirt but was a little weirded out.
Then when the girl is up there the man starts telling her to strip down to her underwear because it would be like she is surfing in a bikini on the beach. She politely declines but he keeps pushing it and starts to sound a little aggressive. I believe they end up getting real creeped out and leaving.
I wish I could remember the show
ETA: Found it, it was "Smart Guy"
Season 2 episode 19, "Strangers on the Net" LINK

Nope, good ole Smart Guy
quote:
While having a blast playing bootleg computer games from the Internet username MarkyMark412, TJ (Tahj Mowry) and his buddy Karen get a message from the seller claiming he's got a new batch of hot property that he wants the young duo to try out, namely Grave Robber 2 and Clowns of War.
As kid gamers are wont to do, TJ and his friend nearly fall over each other speeding to Creepy McJeeperston's house to try out new games. Instead of the fellow 11-year-old running an electronic gaming fraud ring they expected to meet, they run into a grown man wearing Hollywood's patent molester-wear, a V-neck wool sweater.
As expected, MarkyMark412 asks the young kids to take off their sweaters and pants in order to better authenticate the surfing virtual reality game he's built. Hilarious for his audacity alone, TJ snaps back with a zinger about D.C. being cold. Oh, Smart Guy. You hear that kids? Always have a witty comeback in your back pocket when you talk to strangers.

That plot summary cracks me up for some reason.
And, wow, black kids were sure running in to a lot of pedos back in the 80's/90's huh?
