I just recently purchased a 1440 Lowe Jon boat and want to get a aluminum deck put in it. Anyone know of anyone in the Baton Rouge area that would do this? Thanks

Called them and they are going to hook me up. Bringing it tomorrow. He said they can have it done by the weekend. Thanks for the tip.

No just want to have a deck with a chair back seat and bow mounted trolling motor.

Aluminum deck in along with marine carpet. Boat turned out great. Gaudet's did a great job on the deck. They put in a hatch with storage in the front. I have a 2 panel rocker switch for the hummingbird and to turn my motorguide on and off. Taking it out tomorrow for the first time.

Where did you find marine carpet? I've been looking for months. Home Depot stuff is looped. Lopped carpet and treble hooks don't agree.

I ordered it from Cabelas. It was the best price I could find if you can believe that too.

Etec 115. I want to get that hole shot and get it on plane ASAP! I spent WAY more than I planned so my outboard may have to wait which is fine because I have 4-5 private lakes to fish that all I need is a trolling motor anyway.

How much did Gaudet's charge for the deck if you don't mind me asking?

I'm considering whether to build one myself or take it to some one. Looks like they did great work

It was $1100 just to do the front deck and the back sheet for the floor. It was more than I wanted to spend but I didn't want to mess with wood replacement down the road. I had front to back boat service in BR rig it out for me. I basically brought them the carpet, fish finder, trolling motor, electrical wiring, etc. I really like how they mounted the battery. It isn't going anywhere.
