I'll say what many are thinking: Im sick of Buga Nation already.

I know Im suspect but has there ever been a high school kid who came in with so much self-created hype? Dude wears the gear and makes the gestures 100% of the time that he is awake.
Does anybody think this could be a problem at some point with the veterans on the team? IMO he should be wearing LSU gear at the spring game not Buga.
Corny phrases:
* There's no I in team.
* You play for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back.
* TEAM = Together Everyone Achieves More

Eh, it will all cool down once he's in the locker room. He's still in high school mode, that will end once he starts summer practice.

It's called branding dumbass and once you have a brand that you're trying to sell to people, then you have to own that brand. So pipe down turd and don't be a douche...B/c honestly who give a flying frick anyway..Let's let this kid prove his salt and name on a playing field...

I have to agree.
Love the kids play, but it's not HS anymore. It's about the betterment of the squad and what he can do to get LSU to the playoffs and beyond.
From there, we can get him to the league.

Except he isn't a student yet. He's still having fun being the top recruit. Let's wait and see what he does once he gets there and THEN we can start complaining about his brand.

It depends on how he produces. Let's not forget his commitment on 1/2 might have singlehandedly saved lsu's program. I think this board was ready to march on the football ops building, burn it to the ground, and tar and feather the coaching staff. That alone has given him some leeway until the season starts.
If he struggles or is mediocre out the gate then yea he should tone it down and he will bc people will get on his case. On the other hand if he's truly the second coming of Adrian Peterson then we can change the mascot to the LSU Buga Nation's for all I care
