Greatest NFL team of all-time?

My vote goes to the 1989 San Francisco 49ers due to their dominating run through the playoffs that year.
They beat the Minnesota Vikings in the divisional round by the score of 41-13. This despite the fact the Vikings had the #1 defense in the league that year.
Then they beat the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 30-3 in the NFC Championship Game. The Rams were one of only two teams to beat the 49ers that season, a 13-12 victory in the fifth game of the season.
And then that legendary Super Bowl where the 49ers blew away the Broncos by a score of 55-10, which remains the largest margin of victory in a Super Bowl to this day.

1984 49ers only lost one game.
why don't they ever seem to get a nod?
their defense was really tough. But obviously they didn't have the weapons on offense like Jerry Rice, John Taylor, and Brent Jones yet.
they had Roger Craig though.
I know they beat the shite out of Denver but so did all the other teams who played Denver in the Super Bowl during the 80's.

85 Bears.
Outscored opponents in postseason in 3 games 91-10.
The 10 points came from a FG on the first series of the Super Bowl when the offense fumbled inside their 20, and a garbage TD in the 4th when the score was 44-3.

Who was their one loss that year?

85 Bears are the answer but why don't the 71 Cowboys get any love?
HOF Coach

Defense had a handful of HOFers as well
They smacked the Dolphins in the Superbowl too

With one of the easiest schedules in NFL history. They were undefeated and underdogs going into the Super Bowl.

1995 Dallas Cowboys. They won the Superbowl with Barry Switzer as coach.

I don't see how anyone can argue against this. The Saints would've destroyed the 72 dolphins and it wouldn't have even been close. I know this, because Tyler knows this.

I will not allow an Alabama fan to talk about my Fins that way. Speaking of easy schedules.
But seriously, other good teams have had easy schedules. There are easy schedules every year. Why has there only been one undefeated ever?

Which isn't tough when you have Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, Michael Irvin and a host of others on your team. The Cowboys considered their team to be so strong going into 1995, they completely phoned it in during the NFL Draft. They drafted players based solely on how they would perform as back-ups. That's how loaded that team was.
