Dishwasher is a 5 year old Kenmore. It just started leaking.

I think a new one would be about $350. Should I even try to get it repaired? I don't want to pay for it to get fixed and then end up spending the same price to get a new one.

Also, we are selling our house and the dishwasher will stay with the house, so I don't want to invest a lot in this.

Any advice it appreciated.

Could it not just be a $5 hose that needs replacing?

If its a leak it may not be the dishwasher.Might just need to tighten incoming water line. You should see if you can see where leak is coming from.

It doesn't seem to be leaking by the hose. But, then again, I don't feel like scrutinizing it.

Yea check incoming water and outgoing drain hose lines to make sure they are the cause.

Its pretty ulikey although still possible for the front seal or the to be breached after only 5 years of use.

Thank you for that advice. I'll check that.
