I know he's out for the rest of the year, but will he be ready for summer practices?

We'll know his status when coach Payton is ready to tell us.

I feel like we've heard a lot about Ryno's stuff, and we know about what's currently happening with EG, but I've heard next to nothing since Jrue has left the lineup

Successful surgery a month ago. Not sure why they're being so quiet about his recovery, but they've said nothing.

They had to keep the surgery under wraps, because it didn't go well. His chart was mixed up with somebody else's and they gave him tits.

Classic mistake.

Yikes. That's like that hospital that was performing those castrations in error, amirite, PTM? Is the hormone therapy helping at all?

So you heard what happened to my friend, Fearthehat, huh? He said the hormone therapy is working well for him. He's very thankful for modern medicine.

It's been about 5 weeks since Jrue's surgery. According to this doctor, it's standard to wait until it's fully healed to resume normal activities, so we may not hear anything until he's 100%, which still could be a few months out.

quote:

Recovery from a tibial stress fracture is lengthy whether or not surgery is performed. Usually physicians will not let the patient return to sports or exercise such as running until the fracture has completely healed. That process can often take three to four months. At that point, activities are gradually introduced. The time to return to sports is lengthy, but if the fracture heals uneventfully, return to full participation with no limitations is often seen.
