How do I tactfully compose an email to my boss letting him know I'll be late tomorrow because I'm going to a Wrestlemania?

You should use a crayon font.

Tell him you have a personal matter to take care of and you'll stay late if anything needs to be made up.

I'd fire your arse for even considering coming in late to work on account of a redneck wrestling show.

I went to a concert, finished at 11, drove 6 hours, slept 2, and made it to work at 8.

And that was a summer job.

Just swap shifts with Lavontarious or get the drive thru girl to cover the fries for a couple hours.

Listen up brother!,

I regret to inform you that I feel THE CRUEL FACE OF SICKNESS CLIMB INTO THE RING WITH ME!!! (insert pyrotechnics). As a precautionary measure and to avoid endangering anyone else, I feel I must call in sick UNLESS YOU WISH EVERYONE THERE TO FEEL THE WRATH OFEXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA!!! (glass breaking and wicked guitar solo.) I'd be more than happy to work from home if you need me to CRUSH MY DAILY OBJECTIVES LIKE A CHAIR TO THE FACE!.

Thank you for understanding,
Signed,

THE ULTIMATE WORKER!

Just say you'll be late showing up to work tomorrow and that any time you miss will be made up.
