That is literally exactly why I was a delivery driver and not a waiter/waitress throughout my high school/college days, despite it being much worse money. I was terrified of something like that happening.

In highschool I worked at Ruth's and spilt the complimentary champagne down a woman's back at New Years, luckily she was plastered and thought the roof was leaking

And I never done that but I've had coworkers do something similar.
I'll tell y'all the worst. I worked at a Mexican restaurant in Thib called La Casa while going to Nicholls. Well this family brings their new born out for one of its first times. It's in this little baby carrier thing. Well one of my female coworker walks past and trips and dumps one of those super hot sizzling fajita plates directly on top of the baby in the little carrier. It was BAD. The baby had to get rushed to the hospital and the girl was hysterical, so bad that she quit the job and said she could never wait another table. And I don't think she did. Never know exactly how bad the baby got burned but I assume it was bad.
