It seems like Dural is a stud. I think we all expected that. But how open does the #2 spot seem after him? Will freshmen be likely to get significant playing time?

I think Malachi Dupre, when he comes in, will definitely make some noise.

Q Leslie didn't get a single catch did he? I was hoping he would go off.

Diarse and Bolden were boo boo

Diarse had a nice catch today but idk I think fall practice will let us know. If TQ Dupre and Upchurch arent better than Diarse in the fall than Id say Diarse. Quan had that one good scrimmage but he didnt do anything today and under ran a deep ball he shudda scored on

Dupre has a ways to go before he plays a lot.

Diarse and bolden both had a 30 yard catch from Harris that were good catches. Both also had a drop or two I believe

Oh yea the back shoulder jump ball to Bolden was nice. He was wide open on the very next play too and would have scored

I actually think Dupre will be Wr1 by mid-season.

what's up with all the drops that people were saying contributed to Harris poor stats. Were some receivers dropping some catchable balls. Did any of the other receivers show anything or do anything impressive?

Brandon Harris started on the purple team whose two top receivers were a redshirt freshman in Diarse and guy who just moved to WR from qb a month ago.

So.. It was expected for them to have a few drops

Am I the only guy who still recognizes that the younger brother of PP7 was is still a Tiger? I won't count that bloodline out ever.

AND I haven't heard anyone give recognition to the Mighty Quinn but they throw Dupre's name out there like he isn't still a senior HS right now.

The Wide Out positions aren't going to be lacking any talent this coming season but their chemistry with the QB's might take time to grow. Mett's chem with OBjr and JL took a lot of extra time in practices and over the summer to grow to what it was last year so I am not going to get in too much of a rush with'em.

That said, I like Quinn to come in with Dupre and get some playing time this season. I say this mainly because the older guys are going to tell them how much work Mett and the receivers put into getting to know each other during the summer and that will carry over to the guys this summer. This will play a huge role in getting MD and TQ familiar with the QBs.
