I liked the size. I wouldn't have minded it being bigger actually. 400+ student classes were the shite. Walk in late or skip, professor has no idea who you are. I biked so parking wasn't a big deal but when I did drive, at the time I thought the parking was bad, but I could always find space if I didn't mind walking. And I no longer mind walking. I don't think you could expect better parking at a large University in a city that size or bigger.
Only things I didn't really like are layout of the bar scene (not really university related), library hours, and the hours of the on campus food options.

LSU is a small school compared to many universities in the country.

I don't see this, the more people the better for me, more potential new people to meet, and the class size thing never bothered me. The last thing I wanted was for college to feel like high school.
ETA the worst classes were senior year when the biggest class I took was 50 people and most were 20 or 30.
