Why producers are double screwed IMO

Not only is my labor and capital confiscated by the state, it is then given to non-producers to buy goods and services, creating demand that drives up the prices of the what I would like to purchase. Making the capital I am allowed to keep less valuable.
No society can survive on theft and class warfare, all brought about for the sake of liberal power and control.

This is exactly how the liberal law makers envision our country going forward. The goal is to create an entire society completely dependent on the government for their own job security.

What mental illness would drive someone to destroy a nation for job security as a petty ruling bureaucrat?

uhhh....well it's actually for infrastructure, security (local, regional, national and global), education, subsidies to producers, etc.

I believe this was recently shown to be somewhere in the 8% range...and that includes "non-producers" such as veterans, retirees, and the disabled.

There exists no greater mechanism that the free market to ascertain what should be produced, it's all welfare.

With unemployment alone pushing that 8% number, you have to know you're going to be asked to post a link.

Buried deep in a section of President Obama's budget, released this week, is an eye-opening fact: This year, 70% of all the money the federal government spends will be in the form of direct payments to individuals, an all-time high.
In effect, the government has become primarily a massive money-transfer machine, taking $2.6 trillion from some and handing it back out to others. These government transfers now account for 15% of GDP, another all-time high. In 1991, direct payments accounted for less than half the budget and 10% of GDP.
I'll be patiently awaiting your reply

Societies survive in spite of class warfare, S; there will always be groups of elites at the top of Capitalist or Socialist government who have extraordinary access to goods and services. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are obvious examples of the Socialist version. No shortage of Republican/Capitalist parasites either.
Ideally, Capitalism is a form of class warfare where the common man can get ahead toward the acquisition of goods and services by exercising extraordinary efforts...without the group confiscating the fruits of his efforts. It's problematic; life is, in that there will always be slackers and envious individuals/groups who gang up to steal what they can't acquire through honest effort. However, there is a demographic of honest folk who are just less talented, or burdened by Natural/Chaotic eventualities beyond their control...who deserve societal help. For the cause of Religious or Secular good conscience.
'Honest' is the key word; denoting the necessity of QUALIFYING CRITERIA for Collective subsidization. It's the only way it'll work...lest we subsidize behaviors that rise up to bite the hand that feeds em'. If Society can confiscate the freedom on responsible individuals...it damn sure can take the freedom of irresponsible folk.
We all know where this is going. 'House cleaning' coming...top to bottom. Then with acquired Vision...on to the stars.

Maybe you do your purchasing at businesses which are not frequented by the non-producers. Of if that isn''t possible, just do your shopping and forget about it. You are blaming others for your predicament.

Yesterday Obama made a statement responding to Paul Ryan's Budget Proposal. Obama said "It just means more money for the super wealthy and less for the middle class, people who are working harder and harder and can't make ends meet."
I was shocked that he played the 'class envy' card. Shocked, I say.

?? What is my predicament exactly?
I'm laughing at a thread about doom & gloom and typical right-wing talking points trying to accuse liberals of propaganda.

Just wondering..... Doesn't increased demand for goods create demand for efficiencies and economies of scale?

Increased demand creates higher pricing, economies of scale already exist for 99.9% of the items I am currently purchasing.

Unemployment is the most mis-understood thing on this board.
Nobody can survive on an unemployment check. And most people are on it for a matter of weeks, until they find new employment.
Most on it have part time jobs and use the unemployment to supplement that pay.
