New Store, Kinda Like Sam's Without the Membership

Disclaimer: This is not spam and I have no interest in this business, I just think F&DBers would want to know.
If you like Sam's and Caire Restaurant Supply, you should know about this place on Jefferson Hwy in Harahan. I had been wondering about it, having passed it a few times.
The fact that it's in the old Suda Salvalge location kept me from checking it out. Suda was disgusting - it was literally like buying food collected after an 18-wheeler crash on the interstate.
This place is cool. It has food in coolers and restaurant supplies like Caire's. The food is pretty cheap. Stuffed artichokes for $5.99, Double D sausage $8.59 for 3 lb pack. Some of the stuff was so low, I stared wondering if I had to be a restaurant owner or member.
If you're a NOLA foodie, check it out. Not far from Emmitt's Meats. It's called Marque's Food Wholesale Market. 5821 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan

Glad you posted this. I often wonder what was up with this place. I'll drop in on my next Ahn's trip.

WE get stuff from there for parties. It's well worth it in savings for bulk buys

Been a long time since I lived in Nola area but I feel like we did some grocery shopping there 20 or so years ago.
Was like SUPER generic looking store brands and everything seemed dented or squished?

Yeah, at Suda, every can was dented, every box was crushed and the frozen stuff usually had been thawed and refrozen. If not one of these things, it was expired.
