yes delete this shite asap or the bucket brigade will be out there fishing the bank literally every day and soon will be worthless for fishing just like everywhere else the public knows about.

i don't even fish out there, i'm just telling you for your own sake.

ETA: and they don't give a shite about fishing regs. no matter what kind of fish or how big it is, they will just walk it to the car & put it in an ice chest as soon as they catch it.

He's never going to talk to you again.

You are the guy I would never invite fishing.

Your kids now hate you because every time y'all go there is someone in their spot.

Since you are so generous will you bait my hook for me and cast it out?

I'm only kidding...kinda

That site is fished hard. Very, very hard. One the Parish bought it, certain maintenance workers began to fish it morning and evening. I spoke to one a couple of years ago and he was bitching about how it was as good as it used to be. It was good at one time, but I doubt you get anything big or average size there. If you want the kids just to do some perch jerking, maybe.

Warning, last time bank fishing spots around BR were posted on here they were all fished out or people started getting run off because of dipshit lurkers going out there and keeping fish and leaving trash everywhere. Just an FYI

ok ok..i edited it..

the kids dont care if we do or dont catch something..they just like going..i cant seem to figure out what to catch the bass on though..caught a couple on flukes but nothing consistent..kids were using cork and cold worms..you could see the fish just looking at it forever..crickets would probably be better..

Just looking out for you. You're never the "only guy that knows a spot." But you should always atleast try to keep something easily accessible on the down low.

And try crickets

Unless you own the land I wouldn't post any specifics about catches, kills etc. I have been told of people posting good deer and pics only to have lurkers research their post history locate the land and lease it from under them. Always be very careful about what is posted...

I hope you and your kids catch tons of fish, but you need to stop and think that if you are catching fish somewhere, it likely isn't that well known by people who will quickly turn the place into the lsu lakes. Also think of the people who already fish that spot and don't want it to go to shite either. Again, I wish you and your kids all the luck.
