LSU fans have been having trailers similar to that for years

Sure, as long as you also bring along a flatbed and forklift. Those shipping containers are pretty heavy. Definitely not convenient. Better off to build this on the back of a sturdy 16-foot trailer.

How many people actually have a rollback truck or a way to unload this? Not very practical.

This. Is. Awesome.

No it's not.
Without wheels that thing is a pain in the arse.

Plenty of trailers around campus outfitted with bar set up and TVs that are much more convenient.

It looks like they will sell to individuals but are more interested in contracts with the university. So maybe you'd lease the units and not transport them yourself? But not having a choice in the location seems like it would be an issue for most tailgaters.

I like the "observation deck." I've enjoyed the few times that I've stood on top of the LSU sports properties mobile studio thing.

The business model is they "partner" with the university like the Red Box DVD kiosks and tailgaters rent it game by game and they split profits. It isn't meant to be mobile or sold to individuals.

That makes more sense I suppose. I still don't see it taking off.

I agree. LSU would never allow it. If they liked the idea they would probably just steal it and build a bunch themselves.

It isn't meant to be sold, but on the form, you can request a quote. It's gotta be like $30,000+, though.

The layout and design is cool, but its not overly practical due to its lack of wheels/mobility. Plus the top deck would be nice if you could put it right up on the outfield fence, but at The Box, that is not feasible. Great idea/design. Not so great execution and practicality.
