The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner said Wednesday that the death of Luis Rodriguez was ruled a homicide.

Rodriguez died in the early morning hours of Feb. 15th after being detained at the Warren Theatre in Moore. His wife, Nair, recorded the incident on her cell phone.

On Wednesday, almost two months after his death, the state Medical Examiner said Rodriguez's death was from cardiac arrhythmia caused by physical restraint and ruled it a homicide.

The ME cautioned that homicide is a medical term that does not denote wrong doing or criminal intent.

No, but she did watch her unarmed and unresisting husband die after getting strangled by the cops.

That was sad. They had so many people on top of him. Those cops should all be charged for that.

Believe me- I get it. I just don't think cops killing innocent people while their families watch is funny. Please explain to me the humor here.

Regardless of what happened (if everything was fine/legal or the cops fricked up), the video of the incident is pretty sad when you hear her asking if they had killed her husband. Man, that sucks.

No it isn't. Homocide does not mean criminal intent to kill by definition. It doesn't consider intent at all.

Murder, manslaughter, etc are what are up for the court to decide. Which you might have been trying to say.

the term "homicide" only means that death was caused by another human.

people that are executed by the state COD is "homicide".

Even worse is when the officer explained why they did it.

They were called to a domestic violence incident in the parking lot b/c the daughter hit the mother. Instead the police went after the husband and killed him after he didn't show his ID.

Considering that's exactly what happened here, I totally agree with you.
