That's exactly what it looked and sounded like leaving the bat. Just got up in the wind and kept in traveling.

Also, why would he (or anybody for that matter) assume that any ball hit off of any bat would be a home run these days? Home runs are less plentiful than Leprechauns in Mobile, Alabama.

a pop up is different than a pop fly, atleast for some score keepers. Some will say a pop up is a fly ball in the infield. A pop fly or fly ball is a fly ball to the outfield.

I was sitting at the end of the bleachers down the left field line. If the wind wasn't blowing, The left fielder would have had to come in to catch McMullen's ball. For that matter, Bregman's ball wouldn't have made it to the warning track.
But, what the hell, we'll take it. Geaux Tigers. If that's what it takes to get Bregs going again, then BLOW WIND, BLOW.
