PSA opened a really nice store in Greenville, SC about a year ago. Cabela's purchased the land across the street and is set to open tomorrow. Was this move strategic on PSA's part to be near a high density of gun shoppers? There is also an Academy 2 blocks away.

In Dothan we have a Dick's, Academy and a Gander Mountain that almost share the same parking lot.

Damn, I forgot about Dick's. There's one of those a half mile away. I guess the biggest negative is the traffic. Even before Cabela's, that road (Woodruff) was as bad as Vets during Christmas. I will have to plan my gun and ammo buying carefully.

Go to cabelas to fondal the gun porn, then go to PSA to buy the parts to build a gun or buy a complete gun with extra mags and ammo.

Take the $$$$ you saved to buy the SO flowers or, oh shite to hell with that with all the $$$$$ saved buy a subscription to playboy, a tub of lotion, and a family pack of tissue.

PSA will let me "fondle" whatever I like. The latter part of your post was just unfunny and juvenile, but thank you for your well thought-out opinion.

I'm in the Upstate also.

Think they arent that concerned with Cabela's.
They pretty much have the best gun prices in town, and that doesn't even include the websites Daily Specials, which is actually a seperate entity.

It may make their in store ammo pricing come back down to Earth, but I doubt Cabela's will beat them on price. Hell the Cabela's doorbuster sale prices on 10/22's aren't as good as PSA's everday price.

Will be interesting to see what happens here. Competition is good for the consumer.
However I believe Dick's won't make it through this local contest alive.

We shall soon see..

I love PSA. Bought an M&P .40c when they first opened. Palmetto Gun Supply is online, but has been at the last few gun shows. They don't have a physical store, but are based out of Simpsonville. Their prices are good and can avoid ffl if you meet them for transfer. My son's 6th bday is tomorrow. I bought him an. XT .22lr.
