I need to take some customers fishing and we usually do big lake but want to go somewhere else this year. We need an outfit that will take 8 with that being 2 or 3 boats. Also they need to have a lodge of some description. Want to get the full experience. Any suggestions would be appreciated

What time of year? I'd imagine spreading a beach would be your best bet

Get 2 of the little camps in coco marina and capt marty lacoste out of cocodrie. The camps were recently redone and are pretty nice plus the food at coco marina isnt too shabby.

Bayou Charters in Hopedale.

Cap't Charlie Thomason does it right and has a lodge across the street from the boat slips. Each lodge can sleep up to 12 men and are very nice.

Would do Hopedale in the summer for breton sound trout. Either Charlie Thomason or Kerry Audibert, Jonathan Sanchez. Lots of those guides partner up when needing extra boats and will put you on the big dogs at the rigs. (May-July peak) good luck!

If you don't mind driving down to the bay saint louis area there is a good service down there called Shore Thing Charters. Bunch of good dudes. I've fished with Kenny, man knows his shite. Matt and Sonny are very good as well... they mostly fish the Biloxi Marsh. Good thing is when the water starts to warm up soon the triple tail start coming in!
They have access to a camp on Cat Island that they will put you up at and provide meals etc.... look them up, plus you can make an extra day out of it and play The Bridges.

I'm taking some clients in a couple weeks on a 3-day trip out to the Chandeleurs. Sleep on a 70ft boat, which carries 6 skiffs. Supposed to be a great experience. I'm hoping we can catch some big trout, but might have to settle for piles of redfish.

Grand Isle. Call Capt. Frank Drehr at 225-202-2584. He has a nice camp that has some lodging but you can also rent a camp on the island through Grand Isle Realty. After y'all go hammer them you can go to Artie's.

Done it. Was cool to see the islands while they're still there, but 10 of us caught like 15 trout in 3 days. Make sure your Captain is willing to give you guidance on where to fish once you get out there, and what to throw.

My friend Capt. Mark Munson has a great lodge and runs a great operation in Shell Beach. Give him a try.

I've fished with Cap't Mark Munson twice. Both times the wind was brutal and the fishing stunk. Mark didn't charge us for either time, but did get a full tip and gas money for his persistence to put us on the fish. I'd go back with Mark any day of the week. He's a damn good guy and is a good time.

I'd stick to inshore around Hopedale and Shell Beach in the marsh during February. When do you want to go fish? There's plenty of time between now and February. My company uses Cap't Charlie for numerous trips a year. He's the one I posted earlier. We can book a trip anytime you're ready.
