$99 for 6 months of online use. Has anyone ever used this?

Admins, if this is not the proper board, I apologize.

Are you a personal success story? Can you tell me about how it helped you?

This is a much better question than your initial one. Manhattan GMAT took my score into the 700s. I know that for a fact. MGMAT teaches the 700+ level material very well. Overkill for some, but it was valuable to me.

While most material is one giant book, Manhattan has a book for every category of questions on the test. They also will go over 700 level questions. The mock test you have access to are also great.

I'm an engineer and was worried about the Verbal section, after Manhattan I got 95th percentile.

I got some online test bank thing and it was pretty much all I did. I did well on it pretty much just looking at problems. I think I borrowed a book from someone but I found questions much better.

focus on the math section. I didn't study at all and did ok but i wouldve gotten a much higher score had I been ready for the math format. The english section was a joke. It was very close to the ACT.

I think I'm going to buy the Manhattan books this summer because I need to get into the 700s and I got close without studying, hopefully I don't do worse

Manhattan looks pretty good. I'll see if I can get some books.

When I took it roughly a decade ago, whoever you sign up and pay for the GMAT with provided a crash course of sorts. I just used that to brush up my English and Math, which should be 100% refresher and nothing new for you. It only took a weekend before I took the GMAT and even came with a practice test. The real and practice exams were only about 10 points off for me. I was very happy with my score (over 700). I don't think a prep course is necessary personally unless that crash course is no longer provided by whoever you register for the GMAT with.

I've looked at practice tests online, but you never know how close they are to the real thing.

The best advice is no matter what you do take a practice test like you would take the real thing, because the first time I took it I didn't finish the math.

Yeah, it's best to practice under timed conditions.
