Auburn and UCLA look enticing.

Sho.
Oklahoma as well.

There is no feasible way in my mind that OSU is winning the NC in 2015. They would have to go up in total defense by like 40-50 spots, and keep similar offensive production without Hyde or 4/5 of the offensive line.
As said, Auburn and OU seem much more appealing in that range

And I guess this will add to the years that Oregon is supposed to be unstoppable even with 5 years of information saying differently

Their offense is
Their defense is
Basically, par for the course, another ho hum 10-12 win season and BCS bowl game but no national title.
Also, this is assuming they get through a pretty good Pac 12.

UCLA is fool's gold.
Ohio State isn't even that - considering if they got to the the title game they'd be blown-out more so than in previous years.
It's going to be the usual suspects.
Florida St., BAMA, etc.

I will wait to see if the D is much improved. Obviously reports are positive, but they always are in the spring. They absolutely should have the talent this year and in the future, but until I see that talent translate to some dominance on the field I can't be confident in them

LSU at 22/1. That's surprising, but I dig it.

LSU and MSU are both great values at 22/1. Consistent 10 win teams with a great defense? Yeah, that's a good model for breaking through.

I would like to hear an explanation of why Bama has such good odds besides "they're Bama and people will bet on it"
They lost their QB who's been there for a decade and several other key guys. I'm not saying they won't be very good, but I don't see how they have any better of a chance than say Auburn or UCLA

Last two times we've lost a QB, we've won the BCS.
And according to most, he was merely a game manager. Plug in another, and keep playing.

quote:I agree. People look at Saban as the God of CFB. Now he is really good, but you can't win them all.Call it what you want but I think Bama is due for a drop-off in the next 3 years. Seen that Saban said even he knows he can't win because his players aren't listening and aren't as disciplined as previous groups. I think that and old age is what causes him to retire. The sad part is, Les isn't that far from retirement either

Where did I say I was gonna bet on it?
You asked a question, I provided an answer. Sorry you didn't like it.
What odds would you put on Bama? Vegas doesn't wanna expose themselves too much on higher odds, because they know Bama could easily win this year.

Replace that 2 with a 1.
I think 13/1 or 15/1 is about right

Are you talking about actual chances to win or what you would make it as an oddsmaker? Cause you'd be way higher than any other sportsbook. Everyone would bet Bama at your book.

Well I am talking about actual chances. And yes I know these odds aren't made based off of actual chances
