Since there was much interest in DJax here; thought I'd post this. To be honest, I'm happy he didn't go to the Panthers; I would not want to face that guy twice a year.

While this is a good pick up, RG3's accuracy on the long ball was pretty bad last year.

I'm actually just glad he didn't go to SF

The Panthers really don't give a frick.

Good, I'm glad that thug who dresses akin to gang members, and is involved in the rap scene is not here. We don't need that guy; do you know he has acquaintances that have been investigated for crimes? He also was giving his previous team trouble because he wanted more money. The fricking nerve huh?
Wait what nfl player are we talking about again? I forgot.
Sarcasm aside, I'm glad we don't have to face the guy; he has a history of lighting people the frick up.

I think we'll get to see what RGIII really is now.

Miracle at the new meadowlands punt return. Craziest return I've ever seen in my life. I would never have cut him after that.

Since he never left D.C.and only made one visit, we'll never know if that's true.

You should read the espn's blogger piece about them not needing a #1 WR, and then getting a former BROWN'S scout to try to claim that few good teams have one.
It was the definition of someone deluding themselves.

A number one?
Do they also not need a two or three?
I'll admit, I'll jealous of Tolbert though.

The guy had the nerve to not even consider Colston, Steve Smith, and T.Y. Hilton borderline #1s(and T.Y. is a fully legit #1 and Smith and Colston are at least borderline).
"Smith, by the way, didn't make Williamson's list of legit No. 1s. He hasn't been a No. 1 for several years."
Really?
"So the Panthers moved on. They now have in Pittsburgh Steelers free agent Jerricho Cotchery a solid veteran who caught 10 touchdown passes last season. They have in Tampa Bay's Tiquan Underwood a potential up-and-comer whose previous year stats are far better than Ted Ginn Jr.'s were coming into last season, and many of you considered the loss of Ginn in free agency a setback.
Throw in a rookie from a talented and deep draft class, along with Marvin McNutt and Tavarres King, who the Panthers are high on, and there's potential."

Yeah, that's bull.
Underwood ain't nothing to fear.

Yeah Underwood was just a complete bust. He never had a year as "good" as Ginn did last year.
He was "better" the Ginn before last year because the 9ers refused to use him on offense. And it's not like Ginn lit it up for the Panthers either(36 catches, 556 yds., 15.4 ypc, and 5 tds).
Compare that to Stills who had 4 less catches on 17 less targets, same tds, and Stills had a 20 ypc average.
So tell me who you think is the better deep threat?
And then add in the fact that Lafell had similar stats to Ginn and they lost all these guys and just expect some chumps that couldn't beat out below average production to be even close to the mediocrity of last year?
I hope(not) they're planning on taking a WR in rounds 1 and 2 or they are in deep shite.

It's funny that they're excited about replacing one bust with another.
Posted on 4/2/14 at 10:28 pm to Hoodoo Man
And then you look at their "big" signing in Cotchery and realize just how bad off they are. They basically replaced Lafell with him and Ginn with a worse Underwood. Maybe they replace Smith with a draft pick who may or may not work out.
A least they still have Olsen, who led the team with 73 catches, 816 yds., and 6 tds.
"Tiquan Underwood a potential up-and-comer whose previous year stats are far better than Ted Ginn Jr.'s were coming into last season"
This line still kills me because even if it was true(and it's not, I checked) it still doesn't mean shite. Underwood had 28 and 24 catches the last 2 years. That's scary(scary bad).

Olsen is a decent receiver.
Although I do like how he appears to be an even worse blocker than Graham.
