Thinking about building a 1978 jeep Cherokee with my thirteen year old. Hope we can finish it for when he gets his license. What you got.

Not me, but it is not a place for someone who is brand new to the 4x4 world. Used to frequent it when I had both Tacomas

Eta: It's a place for someone who is new to "look don't touch"

Yeah,go there and search and read but never, never post.

Go buy a Hanes manual for your model. It will teach you a lot.

Don't listen to the wemmenz.

Pirate 4x4 will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about anything. There's a newb section for Jeeps.

Just be advised that in the hardcore sections (every board except the newb Jeep one) trollling is allowed and encouraged.

Here you go. I have a 1999 XJ with a 3" lift kit, running 32". Been thru hell and back without ever getting stuck.

Never. Any question that the OP has has been answered. Search.

I have a post count of like 30 and I've been a member for several years.

If your looking for an engine, tranny, transfer case and axles (passenger side drop) I've got them. Crate 350 (0 miles), rebuilt 700 w/ high out put shafts, rebuilt Dana 300 with high input and SYE, GM Dana 44 and matched width GM 14 Bolt.

It's all attached to my scrambler that's for sale too.
