When are we finally going to stand up to these oil companies and either nationalize them or put them out of their misery?
How many oil spills and environmental disasters and explosions and pollution and planet destruction and carbon emissions due to drilling/fracking do we have to put up with before we finally say ENOUGH! and do what it takes to curb their abuse?

But seriously, my comment was a copy/paste of a comment on reddit's news section, there was some guy in the comments bitching about fracking when there was an earthquake near Yellowstone, and it got upvoted pretty heavily before another subreddit caught wind of it and educated him about how there is no drilling in or around Yellowstone

It is estimated that there are approximately 2,600 earthquakes each and every day, or about 80,000 per month, however many of them are too small to even be felt.
