It's a shame TBS did such poor job of advertising the Pete Holmes Show

He's a pretty funny guy. His monologue is always hilarious.
But damn those promos sucked. Which is probably hurting his viewership.

It doesn't look like the show was cancelled or anything, so I'm not sure I understand the point of this thread.
FWIW, I record the show from time to time if there is a guest on that I like, and it's a decent enough show. But no network is going to heavily promote a late-late nite show because ROI is almost nil.

It's not that they didn't advertise at all. But that their advertisements were extraordinarily terrible. Unfunny jokes, etc.

tried watching last night
the SF2 bit was ok but I wanted it to be better than it was. I thought the monologue that followed was awful and changed the channel after that.

I gave the show a chance and watched a few weeks. It sucks.
Him busting out laughing hysterically after everything someone said got old really quick.

I really liked it to start. His sketches are funny. Got old fast. I dont think he can carry a show.

One of the least funny variety/sketch comedy shows I've ever seen. His X-Men bits were good, but that was it. It was painful to watch and I actually enjoy some of his stand up routines.

I listen to the comedy channels on XM all the time. he is one of the few i can't stand and always change the channel when he comes on.
His commercials on TBS made me dislike him even more.
