Harris was a dual threat QB in HS according to the services

Jennings was a Pocket QB according to the services

I think Harris is faster, but Jennings is a good runner, he is scrappy. Don't let the Iowa game fool you.

Harris is probably the better thrower (The dude has an arm) and runner, but he's got a ways to go to get ready to play at this level.

Well, he's very close to starting for us come Fall.

All I care about is who is the better passer. I liked the change of having a pure passer for once last year

TM & LF are better at running.

Who is better at throwing? That's what the OP meant to ask.

I simply wanted to discuss which of the two was more mobile, or threat to run rather, obviously both are mobile QB's. I think Harris has the edge as a runner, however.

i think what you liked last year was having a competently run offense.

Its been a while since we have and that.

I agree. I understand this is still a wide open competition. But, i hate to say it, but when i saw AJ in his limited play thus far (which i understand is very limited).... I saw JJ 2.0

Scared in the pocket, looking to run away from pressure but not looking to buy time to throw the ball. Some QB's when the pocket collapses just freak and try to gain as much yards using legs. Some scramble, and gain enough time to make a pass. Of course there are some times that taking off is the right thing to do. Johnny Football was the master at doing this. He bought time to try to pass the ball if the pocket fell apart, but if there was running room, you take off.

So, I think Harris has a good chance if he has the smarts and some throwing accuracy. They are both young. Going to be fun to watch who wins the job.
