McDermott: 26.7 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 1.6 APG
Napier: 18.1 PPG, 5.9 RPG, 4.9 APG
Kilpatrick: 20.6 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 2.5 APG
Smith: 18.2 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 4.6 APG
Parker: 19.1 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 1.2 APG

Three American Athletic Conference guys on the 1st team.

Also, four seniors on 1st team, which hardly ever happens nowadays. Parker over Warren is shaky at best.

Holy crap. Napier averaged 6 Rebs a game in the reg season and in the post season? That's insane for a 6'1 guard.

Parker over Warren? Meh. NC State would have been lucky to win 15 games without Warren.

Yep, and Parker's team choked in the 1st round.

Not saying that Warren didn't deserve it, but NC State did what in the reg season and post season?

Have people really forgotten Warren's epic choke job from the free throw line in the last 8 minutes of that game? At least it was Parker's whole team that choked

I hate the media bias for fricking Duke... He is NOT a 1st team AA.

At one point in the season he led the team in PTs, rebounds, assists, and steals.

I am far from a Duke apologist, but you need to remember that this is a regular season award.

Now, go find another player who averaged 19 and 9 for a top 10 team.... Actually go find another player in the top 25 that averaged 19 and 9.

How so... I think Payne from MSU should have been 1st team AA... He was way more valuable to MSU than Parker was to Duke.. Hell a lot will argue that Parker wasn't even the best player on his own team....

How about a freshmen with 24 double doubles and is playing in the Final Four?

I'm guessing you are talking about Julius Randle?

Now, go look at regular season stats and regular season rankings....

Payne

missed too many games due to injury during the regular season.

this isn't really about value to a team. it's more about individual stats. not saying that's how it should be, but that's how it is.

who would argue that? who would even come close?

Where do you think he got the majority of the 24 double doubles?
