Anyone else disappointed in the new Chevelle album?

The new album is more hard rock than anything they have done before and ,to me, it comes off sounding like a generic metal band.
only song i like is choking game.

Huge drop off after vena sera. Was my favorite band in college and still listen to the older stuff just can't get with the last couple albums. They shoulda kept joe In the band.
