Those are pretty routine procedures, most general surgeons will have done them 1000 times over.

There's a frickton of general surgeons in the BR area, good luck in your quest.

Brent Allain - Allain may be able to do all laparoscopic/ robotic

Mark Hauseman

These tend to be pretty routine and well within the wheelhouse of a private practice general surgeon

Any half decent general surgeon can do the procedures listed with 0 problem.

Hell, a quarter decent general surgeon would be fine.

Just pick the one with the hottest PA/NP.

the gall bladder is as routine as they come...but I did read somewhere that recurrence of the hernia is definetly tied to the experience of the surgeon....I am not sure how to tell you to do it, but I would find the guy with the most experience on hernia repair and use him...

although every once in a while some dumbass surgeon ligates the common bile duct instead of the cystic duct.

that is quite the problem and quite the legitimate malpractice suit

For that type of surgery in that area, I'd recommend Brent Allain...225 769 5656

Pretty much all the guys people already listed are in the same private practice group, general surgeons of BR - allain, tabor, hausmann, rhynes. I worked with them all as a student during my surgery rotation and you can't go wrong with any of them. Like everyone has mentioned, these are routine cases but you'd be in good hands with any of those guys.

and jose, I don't think DA is related to Brent Allain but could be wrong.

Ah yes saw that not too long ago. When the cholangiogram lit up on the screen, the GS was not too happy with what he saw. We, in the OR weren't too pleased either!
