Weekend fishing report

Upper Grand River was slow this weekend.
Caught a few keepers Saturday on spinner baits with a craw trailer. Sacalait were on black/chartuse jigs

Today was all yearlings and one 3 pounder all on rattletraps but they all got put back

today was big 0 for us. must be the high mPa, but it beat the heck out of sitting at home -pretty day

Son got 5 in the 4-5lb range. One of his buds got an 8

Caught one little bass on a watermelon trick worm. The water is really high and really muddy around lake maurepas from all the rain we had on Friday.

Caught a 12" and a 17" bass saturday in crackerhead in lake verret. Caught those two in a canal with clear water on lizards. Everywhere else was muddy water full of garfish. Black with blue tail lizard, texas rig

Damn, I thought I had a slow weekend with only 8 keepers but reading everyone post blanks makes me feel better
