Who decided on the bat change?

Isn't it a committee made up of coaches and ADs? If so, why would it be so hard to admit they screwed up and pull out the 2009 bats again?

South Carolina hit a grand slam in the 9th to win a game 9-6. ULL had 7 HR's in one game, LSU has 10 on the season. All these teams use the same bats.

I know LSU has issues that have nothing to do with the bats. But it's obvious that the last iteration of bats was better.

Everyone LSU is playing seems to do just fine with the bats. Quit making excuses we can't hit period.
