Why does ESPN think we give a shite about Cricket?

Cricket scores are on the bottom line on ESPN right now
Just wondering why anyone who would be watching Women's College Basketball would care about Cricket. A foreigner who likes cricket probably wouldn't care about women's college basketball.
Reminds me of when I lived in Las Vegas and would go to the sportsbooks on Saturdays to watch college football. Every Saturday a pack of Europeans would come in wearing their soccer jerseys expecting to watch soccer, and then would bitch and moan because none of the TVs in the book had soccer on. The book manager would finally give them a small TV screen for their soccer and they would all huddle around that area to watch it.

It's actually got a pretty sizable following, just not in the US, obviously.

If I were a foreigner who likes cricket and was visiting the US for whatever reason I sure as hell wouldn't keep the channel on Women's College Basketball

"hey, honey, can you take out the trash?"
"Sweetie, can't you see I'm busy bitching about a cricket score being shown on the bottom of the screen of a womens basketball game I'm watching?"

we have a new kid at work. cocky lil Indian frick, the "golden boy" type.
I was training him when he first started and this motherfricker kept going on and on about how he is going to eventually get me and the rest of the boys at work to love cricket instead of football, basketball, baseball, golf.
I ignored him for the most part. Then he whips out his cellphone to show me a cricket highlight video.
I turn and tell him, "this is America, no one gives a shite about cricket and never will"
fricking injuns I tell you
