Now that some time has passed and the knee-jerk reactions have come and gone let us remember one of cable TVs all-time great dramas. Your favorite moments, least favorites, thoughts on the series as a whole. Let's just hash it all out.

I'll start us off: frick Marie

Hank was the only halfway "decent" person on the show. The rest were involved in drugs, crime, cheating people, overall general slimy-ness, or just plain old crazy arse bitches.

Skyler wasn't nearly as terrible as this board makes her out to be.

WWII--I really hated this kid. Poorly conceived and executed character. Easily the worst one on the show.

I don't completely get the hate for the kid, but, I'll agree that if anything in the long run holds this show back from being the GOAT - it will be the off note provided by Walt, Jr. And I don't blame the kid - he seems like he was plugged in to what they wanted him to do - but the writing and storyline just fell flat. I think they probably planned more for him, and the other interesting storylines crowded him out.

For example - Jesse was supposed to die in the first season (or perhaps early in the second) - they decided to keep him. Every scene after that was a potential Junior/Flynn scene and maybe something would have come of it.

Only so many pages of script and so many minutes of screen time - in the end, at least 1 of Walt, Jesse (and ultimately) Hank, ended up being in 95% of all scenes.

Loved the huge magnet to destroy the laptop. Not sure if that's actually possible, but it was cool as hell.

Watching it for the second time now, her behavior is much more understandable. Walt had so many opportunities to put an end to things before they escalated out of hand.

Never has a title so aptly described the theme of a show. The acting was brilliant and amazing depicting so many characters with so few redeeming values.

It's a wonder Badger and Skinny Pete survived hanging out with Jesse and Walt.

True although Saul Goodman was my favorite character on the show. He knew exactly who he was and was smart to boot and got things done.

Yet, he's still working at a Cinnabon in Nebraska.

Cinnabon actually used Saul's line as a promo.

In the last episode, at the very end, when Walt was walking around the lab after being shot, I was waiting on him to finally try the meth.

Favorite characters: Jesse, Saul, walt, and The chicken man!

Only because people have a tendency to not look at pride as negatively as greed, for example. Being in law enforcement, therefore being on the "right" side, doesn't hurt his perception in the eyes of the viewer either.
