Couple other things that I noticed last weekend around so many that I made a note of but can't think of them right now... they sometimes say weird shite and LOVE Crown Royal. They would say "give me a Rye and splash of coke/water/seven"

Canadians are actually really huge dickheads for the most part.
I went on a snowboarding trip to Whistler in January and the lady at the ticket counter said she absolutely loves Americans because of how polite and courteous we are. I then talked to a Canadian that was with us and he said he has no clue where it came from that Canadians are nice people haha.

From my experience they are very apathetic about Americans. Especially the young generation [18-24]. In the rural parts of BC & Alberta I have overheard some rude comments about Americans. But, they were mostly jokes about POTUS Bush. Nothing got personal.

I've met a shite ton of Canadians and except for the Quebec ones I usually couldn't tell they weren't from the US. Canadians and Aussies I've always felt like I could shoot the shite with normally. With Brits there seems like there is a slight disconnect, like I'm not always positive if they're getting offended by something. They have a naturally colder demeanor.

I know a Canadian who has lived in New Orleans for about 8 years and he HATES Canada and basically refers to it as a cesspool.

I don't think you understand what the dry in "dry american humour" stands for.

And the women in Montreal. I would not use the term "average" in describing them.

We spent a lot of time in Alberta, BC, and the Yukon and generally like Canadians (except Quebecers who can be assholes). The ones we met were more polite than Americans but fairly boring and meek. They put a lot of emphasis on safety and taking precautions. Most restrooms had detailed instruction on how to wash your hands. I mean seriously detailed to the point of being comical. And there was also this in a Calgary restroom which I find rather funny:
We were in Dawson City for the Canada Day parade which was cute:
The Douglass Adams phrase "mostly harmless" comes to mind.
Canadians generally did get better the further north we went. I still prefer Alaskans, though.

I like Yukoners. Whitehorse, for it's size is a pretty wild town. Those people can break the Canadian stereotypes.
