That's awesome for him! He was very nice to our young son during the tournament at Le Triomphe in Lafayette a few years ago. Great to see a good guy doing well.

Great for him! Love seeing Tigers playing well on Tour.

Looking forward to watching him and looks like Peterson is going to sneak in the cut line as of now this weekend.

Kid definitely deserves it! He's a good friend of mine and he is a tireless worker on the course. Hopefully all of his hard work pass off this weekend!

I've never heard of him, so I assume he played at LSU right?

He is playing great this tournament. This is a retty big tournament and winning it would definitely solidify his tour card for next year. It's early, but as of now he is on the cusp of being demoted back to web.com tour so he needs a big tournament.

A top 5 finish would really take the pressure off for the rest of the season. Peterson has 2 top 25 finishes this year but he's struggled a bit. I'd love to have these two great Tigers stay up in the PGA Tour for their entire careers.

Where do you get this info about tour card rankings or whatever it is? I see people talk about it but have never been able to see the source.

Also seeing as how they both only got their cards a few months ago it seems awfully quick to be losing it already. I mean that is brutal. Here's your card now go win in 3 months or back to Web.com for you.

Yesterday he drove the 357 yd par 4 (one of of only 2 players to do so) & two putted for birdie.

The boy can bomb it!!!!

It's a yearly card so it's not soon but as two rookie PGA your card holders, there's always the chance of not making it. I think both can stay up but Loupe has only made 3 cuts this year in 3 months so you gotta get your points when you can.

I follow using the PGA tour app. Sends me updates and tee times. Plus golf channel.

Loupe is in the featured group on golf channel so you can watch pretty much every shot he takes. They've talked about him a ton. He's playing really well.

Love it when our grads do well. Peterson's had a tough season thus far but still a couple top 25 finishes. Was hoping he could play in Augusta again

Yea, surprised with his start this season. He is toughing out a rough patch right now and it should come around imo. He has the talent just needs to hang on and it will happen for him.

Can't wait to go see all these guys at the Zurich.

Would Loupe need a win to make the Masters or can he do it on the money list with a 2nd this weekend?

ETA: he needs a win.

I think he'd need to win this to qualify because a 2nd finish wouldn't get him into the top 50 for monday's world rankings right?
