Any places to buy comics in Prairieville?

I think the closest comic shop to Prairieville is Louisiana Double Play on Sherwood in Baton Rouge.

As someone said, the store in Prarieville is probably the closest.
There was a nice one in Gonzales on Burside once but it's been closed for several years.
I always thought that the shift away from the spin racks in pharmacies and discount stores and to comic book stores was a mistake.

I couldn't agree more. Why limit your revenue stream? I know the move to better paper raised prices but I can't help but wonder if going to this sort of distribution model didn't add to it.

I miss the spin racks, but stores wouldn't carry the Vertigo brand, anyway. Oh well, thanks y'all. 
Btw, Amazon shipping of comics is not eligible for Prime. It doubles the cost of the books. At least the ones I saw.

Not only that, I always thought that having them available in local rural stores kind of insured a steady stream of new customers as kids would be exposed to them when they were young and some percentage would stick with them long term.
Of course, I'm not sure that grammer school kids even go shopping with their parents much anymore. Back then it was kind of a weekly thing where your parents would do the grocery and then the department store shopping and the kids would tag along and either play pinball machines if the store had them, or grab a couple of comics (were 20 cents when I started) or if they had neither just hit the bubble gum machines.

Actually, I was pretty full on Droopy on Sundays when I'd let myself in after I went out on Saturdays and passed out behind the counter.
I was never late for a Sunday shift though.
