Am I just seeing things weird or does Jennings float almost every pass, including short slant routes? I don't remember how he threw last year and have only seen the videos of him throwing without a defense on the field in spring. It just seems like it's a bad habit that could be very costly during the season.

We get it...Harris is the greatest qb ever.
Last year Jennings was the fricking man and people wanted him on the field SO badly. He got his shot and leads us on a 90+ yard game winning drive and then wins a bowl game with a watered down game plan. Now he's most likely going to be the starter and what do you know....Jennings sucks and Harris is the man.
The back up qb is ALWAYS the best player we have.

Not speaking about you specifically, but this kind of crap is all you see around here lately. And if Jennings is the starter you will hear it after EVERY single game.

It's my opinion that he does this to compensate for the mechanics issue he has which causes balls to sail on him.
When he throws it with velocity, he loses it way too often high. He compensates for this by taking some velocity off of it. It is a significant problem, IMO.
If you go back and watch the Iowa game, that interception he threw was ridiculously bad.

He was a true freshman starting in his first game. Did you expect him to be seasoned and polished on every single play? Don't you remember J Lee (as a RS Fr) throw some of the dumbest passes you've ever seen??
Think of this before thinking another TRUE freshman is the savior.

you mean the kid that had only played one drive, which was damn near perfect, started a game and didn't throw every pass perfectly?

He doesn't have a strong arm so hopefully his accuracy continues to improve
